Agroforestry in the UK

Paul Burgess has produced a brief article on “Agroforestry in the UK” for the quarterly journal of the Royal Forestry Society. The article highlights the forthcoming UK Agroforestry Conference at Cranfield University on 22 June 2017, which will be followed by a workshop entitled Practical Agroforestry in the British Isles on 23 June 2017. The article explains why agroforestry in the UK is important, topical, how it is being used to market food products, improve productivity, address climate-change and flood management, and how it depends on dynamic farmers and foresters.
